Holy Hoopleheads—the Siamese kitty boy who thinks he’s a Chihuahua is lost in spice! Wait a minute…spice? It’s one small step for Chihuahuas, one giant leap for El Skippito as Skippyjon Jones gets a big ol’ whiff of chili powder (“Holy HOT tamales!”) and blasts off into space. (Well, sort of.) Craziness ensues when he touches down on Mars (a.k.a. the rojo planet) and comes face to face with his very own Martian-ito twin. Featuring super-imaginative galactic creatures and crazies galore, witty wordplay, Spanish phrases and, of course, Judy Schachner’s trademark hilarity, this is the best kind of space adventure to read out loud to your Skippyjon Jones fans. Now, that’s what we call out of this world fun! (Ages 4-6)

The rhyming helps the little ones learn new words, and keeps the rhythm of the story going. The Pet names are our favorite, and I would like to have some new ones to apply to my children, but this latest kitty boy story did not disappoint!

We love Skippyjon Jones! Though the first book is by far the best, this latest addition to our collection did not disappoint. My 5 year-old enjoyed this book, and considers it one of his favorites.

A wonderful addition to the Skippyjon series. This one is on the top of my boys (3 and 5) favorite list. We just can't get enough of Skippy!
