I purchased the Winpy kid series for my son who is age 9 and does not enjoy reading. He has fallen in love the with books and can't wait to read each one. They are funny and have kept his attention and interest. He has also asked for the Wimpy Kid do it yourself book which is great as that means he would be writing.

My daughter really enjoyed this book. Keep in mind that this book is written from a Wimpy Kid's point of view and is written using a Wimpy Kid's vocabulary and sentence structure. This is the kind of book that speaks to a child in their own language.
