My 3 1/2 year-old daughter's favorite thing to do is play dress up all day long. She is especially happy to dress up as a princess. The illustrations in this book are fun, beautiful, slightly whimsical, and reminiscent of what I see in my very own home with my little princess! We love to read this book together and talk about the ways to dress as a princess and compare with what my daughter does to be a "princess". The only reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is that it is more of a description of what a "princess" is and does and not as much of a story to follow.

I ordered the first copy to use in my preschool for our unit on Kings, Queens, Castles, and Things. I felt it was so well written that I ordered more for my grand-daughters for Christmas. It enables every little girl to identify herself with being a special princess. It's an adorable book.
