Disguising one’s self in sheep’s clothing? Blowing houses down? Eating grandmas? HOW RUDE! B.B. Wolf sure would like to change his wild ways—especially when he’s invited to a very special Storybook Tea. Little Bo Peep, The Three Pigs, and the rest of the gang will be there (and they’ll be on their best behavior, no doubt), so B.B.’s determined to show them that he can mind his Ps and Qs, too. But what if he forgets what to say after he burps? Award-winning author Judy Sierra’s inventive story is so much fun to read aloud—especially with catchy rhymes about proper etiquette and wacky illustrations galore. And if the wolf formerly known as “Big Bad” can learn a thing or two about good manners, then your little one can, too! (Ages 4-6)

I've read this book twice now to my son's class in school. Last year in 1st grade and today in 2nd. Both classes enjoyed the silliness of the book while learning a bit of manners. This year the class sang the last page together and had a great time. Recommended for young school age children, as they understand the twist on the Little Red Riding Hood characters.

I liked the book, it was cute. The pictures were interesting for my little ones. It held their attention.

The "manners" taught mainly consist of a mantra that B.B. Wolf repeats to himself about not biting. For little ones not yet that familiar with the storybook references being made, it's not all that captivating. I thought the book would provide more opportunities to discuss the importance of good manners and what those manners consist of.
