This was for my daughter of 20. She has always like the auther of these books. She has collected these books as far back as I remember.

My copy of this book has been asked for so many times, it has worn completly through. It is a hit any time with my two year-old daycare class, as well as, my own three and six year-olds at home. My 18 month old even gets into the rhymes. It's a nightly read even Mommy can get into.

Shel Silverstein has been one of my personal favorites for 20 plus years. I adore his books and find them so endearing! I don't have children but I bought this book and others by Silverstein knowing that they will be a necessity for my 'future' children's book collection!

Adorable Compilation of Babbit Stories

This book is adorable! You don't have to read it from front to back...you can read one page or 3. My 10 year old son who is dyslexic can appreciate it and feel good about himself since someone else got it wrong too! Good for esteem and good for pure fun. Great for my 3 1/2 year old daughter with funny plays on words. We make up our own daily. Good fun Book.

Very cute and clever

A great book! My kids both love Shel Silverstein books and this one was no exception. My 7 year old who is beginning to read had a little trouble with reading it out loud and wanted to switch the words to make them "regular". All in all though, a great family read. Light hearted and quick. We enjoyed it for it's silliness.
