I remember when this book first came out, and now I read it to my own children. The book is amazing in both story and illustration, and I wish they carried more of his books (Jumanji, The Garden of Abdul Gasazi, The Z was Zapped... many more) on this site. I encourage any parent to find some of his other works.

We got this last year when my son was three! I thought it might be too long for him and not keep his attention. Boy, was I wrong! During Christmas time, he wanted me to read it every night. I enjoyed the story as well. Definately a classic we'll be enjoying every Christmas!
