“The Wimpy Kid books are great! These books have gotten both sons, 7 and 9, to quit video games and read. They read at night, in the morning and in the car. They take these books everywhere they go. I am so pleased! If your son hasn’t found THE book to make him want to read, try the Wimpy Kid books,” says Kristy G. She’s not the only Club member singing the praises of Jeff Kinney’s middle-grade fiction series that has delighted boys, girls, parents AND kids at heart alike, while inspiring two major motion pictures (and counting!) and topping the New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestseller lists, to boot. Now, here’s your chance to discover what all the hype’s about with Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Ugly Truth. (Ages 9-12)

I bought 2 copies to donate to the 2 grade school libraries that I volunteer at. All the Wimpy Kid books get checked out as soon as they come back in, so I knew they would be a hit. I donated the books in August, and they have been out ever since. Guess the kids think they are great!!!!!

He has been waiting for the fifth book and when it arrived in the mail he put down his video game and read this book and did not stop until he was finished! Unbelievable for a kid who HATES to read. Thank you for writing such wonderful books.
My 11-year-old owns 100s of books, but she hated to read ... until this series came along! She read a book a day! And, read them all again! I am so glad she's getting the practice she needs ... and the increased reading has encuraged her eight-year-old sister to read more, too! Love these books.

my 7 yr. old son loves the wimpy kid books; read them (along with roald dahl books from a boxed-set) repeatedly over the summer...anything to get him to enjoy reading. we have the movie here, i don't want to read the books, lol.
